Marlins' López gets taste of 'Nuestra Comida'

If you could have a celebrity chef cook you any meal, what would it be? 

Marlins pitcher Pablo López's choice might surprise you: arepas with quail eggs and pink salsa. Lucky for him, he had Chef Yisus ready to cook up the special dish, a favorite of López's growing up in Venezuela, just in time for the Marlins' postseason run. 

Learn Chef Yisus' recipe -- and all about his own connection to baseball -- as he makes the quail egg arepa for López in the premiere episode of MLB's YouTube series "Nuestra Comida."

As Yisus walks you through how to make the arepa step by step, he talks about playing baseball in high school and college, his favorite players (Pedro Martinez, Johan Santana, Miguel Cabrera, Ronald Acuña Jr. and Omar Vizquel, to name a few), rooting for his hometown Marlins and more.

 Once the dish is complete, Yisus sends it off to López and his Marlins teammates at the ballpark … and he even throws in a free dessert.
