Melvin Upton Jr. and Wil Myers extended their hitting streaks to six straight games Tuesday night in the Padres 10-7 win at Baltimore -- a win that enabled the Padres to equal their season-best winning streak of three straight wins.
Left fielder Upton was 2-for-5 with a run scored Tuesday night. He is 11-for-24 during his six-game hitting streak with two doubles, a homer, four RBIs and six runs scored. He has raised his batting average 21 points to .257 during the streak.
First baseman Myers was 1-for-5 with a walk and a RBI Tuesday. He is 9-for-25 during his six-game streak with four doubles, two homers, seven RBIs and five runs scored. Myers hit .360 (27-for-75) this month with eight doubles, nine homers, 23 RBIs and 19 runs scored in 18 games.

NOTES FROM THE SCOREBOOK:
--Right fielder Matt Kemp was 4-for-6 Tuesday night in Baltimore with two doubles, two RBIs and a run scored. After hitting .186 in May for the second straight season, Kemp is batting .364 (28-for-77) through the first 19 games in June with six doubles, two home runs, 16 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
--Right-handed closer Fernando Rodney's streak of consecutive innings to open a season without allowing an unearned run is over, but he did pick up a 15th save in as many opportunities Tuesday night. By allowing an earned run in the ninth, Rodney's earned run average soared from 0.00 to 0.34.
--Right-handed reliever Kevin Quackenbush is on an interesting run. Quackenbush was credited with the win both Sunday and Tuesday to improve to 5-3 on the season. Quackenbush has decisions (3-1) in four of his seven appearances since returning from Triple-A El Paso on June 4.
