CHICAGO -- The Cubs spent much of Saturday searching for offense.

made sure they never stopped believing.

Crow-Armstrong delivered a game-tying home run with two outs in the ninth inning before ’s single -- aided by a misplay by Victor Bericoto -- lifted the Cubs to a walk-off 3-2 win over the Giants in 10 innings at Wrigley Field.

The center fielder accounted for nearly everything offensively for Chicago, finishing 4-for-5 with two home runs, two RBIs and two runs scored. His second homer came with the Cubs down to their final out, sending a packed Wrigley crowd into a frenzy and forcing extra innings.

Crow-Armstrong’s first blast arrived moments after San Francisco grabbed a 1-0 lead in the sixth. After Rafael Devers connected for a solo homer against Caleb Thielbar, Crow-Armstrong answered immediately, crushing a hanging sinker off starter Landen Roupp into right field to even the score at 1.

The Cubs had chances to take control throughout the afternoon but repeatedly came up empty. Chicago loaded the bases in both the sixth and seventh innings, but Nico Hoerner flew out to end one threat before Alex Bregman struck out swinging to strand three more runners. The Cubs left nine runners on base through seven innings.

With automatic runner Dansby Swanson on second in the 10th, Busch lined a single into right field. Bericoto couldn’t handle the ball cleanly, allowing Swanson -- who was out of the starting lineup after getting a day to rest -- to race home with the winning run as the Cubs completed a dramatic comeback victory.
