CHICAGO -- pieced together one of the great single-season performances in Cubs history in 2025, winning over baseball fans in the process with his high-energy style of play and fun personality. The awards have followed.

During the season, Crow-Armstrong not only made his first All-Star team, but he was in the starting lineup for the National League. Earlier this month, he picked up his first career Gold Glove Award for his dynamic defensive play in center field. Now, Crow-Armstrong has been chosen for the All-MLB Team presented by MGM Rewards.

During the All-MLB Awards show on Thursday night, Crow-Armstrong was named one of the best six outfielders in baseball, earning a spot on the All-MLB Second Team.

Crow-Armstrong joined Cody Bellinger (Yankees) and Corbin Carroll (D-backs) among the outfielders on the Second Team. The All-MLB First Team outfield trio consisted of Aaron Judge (Yankees), Juan Soto (Mets) and Julio Rodríguez (Mariners).

The All-MLB Team was introduced in 2019 to honor players’ full-season contributions, given that All-Star selections are based on first-half performance. Fans were asked to vote at MLB.com to help choose First- and Second-Team selections at each position (three outfielders, a DH, five starting pitchers and two relievers) among this year's nominees.

The 23-year-old Crow-Armstrong finished as one of seven players in MLB this season with at least 30 home runs and 30 steals, joining Carroll, Soto, Rodríguez (Mariners), José Ramírez (Guardians), Jazz Chisholm Jr. (Yankees) and Francisco Lindor (Mets). The Cubs’ center fielder was one of only five with at least 30 doubles on the season.

Crow-Armstrong finished with 31 homers, 35 steals and 37 doubles, becoming the only player in Cubs history with a 30-30-30 season. Prior to Crow-Armstrong, only Sammy Sosa (1993 and ’95) had at least 30 homers and 30 steals in a single season.

Crow-Armstrong ended the year hitting .247 with a .768 OPS and 72 extra-base hits (the most for a Cubs player since 2018). He was the first Cubs player to have at least 72 extra-base hits and 30 steals since Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg achieved the feat in his NL MVP campaign in 1984. Kiki Cuyler also did it in 1930 for the North Siders.

In center field, Crow-Armstrong made 19 five-star catches (0-25% catch probability), setting a single-season record since Statcast began tracking such plays. The previous mark was 12 -- set by Billy Hamilton for the Reds in 2016. Crow-Armstrong’s 24 Outs Above Average were also the second most on record, trailing only Byron Buxton’s 27 OAA with the Twins in ’17.

Crow-Armstrong represented the Cubs, alongside teammate Kyle Tucker, in the NL’s starting outfield in the All-Star Game and helped anchor a defense that took home the Rawlings Gold Glove team award for ’25. Crow-Armstrong played a starring role for a Chicago team that reached the postseason for the first time since ’20, and he is primed to be a core star for years to come.
