Suarez, a 20-year-old lefty, threw 51 of his 79 pitches for strikes, struck out five and nearly threw a perfect game as just one walk stood between him and perfection. Instead, Suarez threw the Crosscutters' first no-hitter since August 13, 2013.

After walking the first batter of the game, Suarez promptly erased the lone baserunner with a ground-ball double play and finished the game having retired 21 in a row.
The no-hitter improves Suarez to 4-0 through seven starts this season and dropped his ERA to 2.09.
Suarez received some early run support as his club struck for three in the first and added another in the third.
First baseman Darick Hall did most of the damage with a two-run double in the first and finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
