Phillies' Oracle Park woes continue, with no series wins in SF since '13

April 8th, 2026

SAN FRANCISCO – Once again, the Phillies left Oracle Park disappointed.

They cannot win here, regardless of the year or the personnel on either team. The Phillies have not won a series in San Francisco since 2013, when Cliff Lee and Kyle Kendrick got wins and Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, Domonic Brown and Kevin Frandsen homered.

They are 9-29 since.

The Phillies lost Wednesday’s series finale to the Giants, 5-0. They won the series opener on Monday, which was the first time they won a series opener at Oracle since 2014. Bryce Harper had a big night, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in a fun comeback victory.

The Phillies never scored again.

They mustered only four hits in Tuesday’s 6-0 loss. They got only four hits again on Wednesday.

The Phillies scored two or fewer runs in four of the final five games of a road trip that began Friday in Colorado with a 10-1 victory.
