Twins' Jay, Nats' Fedde, Brewers' Lopez, Rockies' Gray all on the mound

April 15th, 2016

Twins No. 3 prospect Tyler Jay (No. 58 overall) is one of four Top 100 prospects scheduled to take the hill Friday in the Minor Leagues.
Jay, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2015 Draft, was impressive in his first professional start last week, throwing five innings of one-run ball and striking out seven for Class A Advanced Fort Myers, and he'll look to build on that performance tonight against Daytona at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Nationals No. 4 prospect Erick Fedde, in his first full year removed from Tommy John surgery, will make his second start for Class A Advanced Potomac at home against Wilmington at 7:05 p.m. ET. The 23-year-old right-hander, No. 76 on the Top 100, allowed two earned runs and scattered eight hits over 4 1/3 innings and fanned seven his season debut last Sunday (also against Wilmington).
For fans wanting to tune in to MiLB.TV to watch a Top 100 prospect in action, Brewers No. 3 prospect Jorge Lopez (No. 55 overall) and the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox will take on the Memphis Redbirds at 8:35 p.m. ET.
Lastly, Rockies No. 2 prospect Jon Gray (No. 31 overall) will make a second rehab start for Class A Advanced Modesto as he continues to work his way back from an abdominal strain that's had him sidelined since March 25. The 2013 No. 3 overall Draft pick, who was dominant in five California League starts during his pro debut, allowed two earned runs in 4 2/3 in his first outing for the Nuts.
