The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced they have partnered with Sugardale to host the popular "Buc Night" promotion at PNC Park on Tuesday, April 5 when the Pirates play the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:05 p.m. New for this season, the Pirates are offering an "Early Bird" presale with access to a limited number of one dollar tickets for the Tuesday night game.
Beginning today, Monday March 21 and taking place thru Sunday, March 27 at 11:59 p.m., fans who buy full priced tickets to any Monday thru Friday game for the 2016 Pirates season will be given the opportunity to purchase up to four one dollar grandstand tickets for Tuesday, April 5, using the upsell option when purchasing. By selecting Infield Grandstand, Outfield Grandstand or Corner Grandstand tickets, those tickets will be added on at a one dollar per ticket to your order.
This means all this week if a fan, for instance, purchases two tickets to the 12:35 p.m. June 23 Gerrit Cole Bobblehead day game vs the San Francisco Giants, he or she will then be able to add on up to four one dollar tickets for the "Buc Night" game on April 5 in the Infield Grandstand, Outfield Grandstand or Corner Grandstand areas.
As part of their 2016 benefits, all Pirates Season Ticket Members will have a special opportunity to purchase one dollar tickets to "Buc Night." On Monday, March 28 a limited number of one dollar tickets for "Buc Night" will go on sale exclusively to Pirates Season Ticket Members. Finally, and subject to availability, "Buc Night" tickets will be made available to the general public on Wednesday, March 30.
The distribution of "Buc Night" tickets purchased on March 28 and March 30 will take place exclusively via the MLB.com Ballpark app, available on ios (7.0 or later) or Android (4.0 or later). Fans who purchase the one dollar tickets can do so online at Pirates.com/BucNight, but the tickets and barcodes will only be distributed to a mobile device via the Ballpark app. Fans MUST have the Ballpark app to redeem their tickets at the gate.
Details for "Buc Night, presented by Sugardale" on April 5 are as follows:
* There will be a limited number of ONE DOLLAR tickets to the game in select sections, while supplies last as detailed above.
* Sugardale Hot Dogs will be available for just one dollar at all North Shore Refreshment and Federal St. Grille locations.
* There will also be one dollar off all fountain drinks at all PNC Park general concession stands.
* Popcorn will be available for one dollar at the following North Shore refreshment stands: Sections 114, 123, 135, 307, 318, 328
