The Pirates announced today the proceeds from the Pirates Charities 50/50 Raffle, supported by Rivers Casino, on Saturday will benefit the OneOrlando Fund to help assist the community affected by the terrible June 12, tragedy in Orlando, Fla.
The Pirates Charities 50/50 Raffle takes place during each Pirates home game throughout the season. Raffle ticket prices are three (3) tickets for $5, 10 tickets for $10 and 40 tickets for $20 with all proceeds benefiting Pirates Charities. Raffle ticket sales close after the last out in the sixth inning. The winning number will be drawn, announced in the 8th inning and the winner will receive 50 percent of the total pot.
Winning numbers will also be posted on pirates.com/5050raffle within three business days.
The OneOrlando Fund is a project of Strengthen Orlando, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation created for the purpose of supporting and starting projects to strengthen the Orlando community. The fund will support nonprofits that are supporting the victims of the families, The LGBTQ, Hispanic, faith and other affected communities, other underlying causes of this tragic event, and more.
