Pirates announce times for 2016 home games

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced first pitch times for 2016 games at PNC Park.
The Pirates will host the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday, April 3 at 1:05 p.m. in the very first game of the 2016 schedule in Major League Baseball. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN.
The schedule also has three Saturday afternoon games at 4:05 on May 21 vs. Colorado, June 4 vs. the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and July 23 vs. the Philadelphia Phillies.
Two games in June will feature start times to accommodate national television. FOX Sports will televise the Saturday, June 11 game vs. St. Louis with a first pitch time scheduled for 7:15 p.m. The next day the Pirates and Cardinals will be featured on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball with a special start time of 5:05 p.m. as part of an ESPN Sunday Night doubleheader.
During the final homestand leading up to the All-Star break, Pittsburgh's game vs. the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park on July 9 will be televised by FOX with first pitch scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
The Pirates will also have a special start for the Monday, September 5 Labor Day game vs. St. Louis with a first pitch time scheduled for 4:05 p.m. Pittsburgh will close out the home portion of the 2016 campaign with a 7:05 game vs. the Cubs on Thursday, September 29.
