The Pirates return to PNC Park for the fifth homestand of the season, a six-game stop as the Pirates host two National League Central rivals, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs.
The homestand is highlighted by Free Shirt Friday and Dollar Dog Night on Friday, May 25; camo bucket hat giveaway on Saturday, May 26; Kids Day on Sunday, May 27 and afternoon baseball on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28.
Friday, May 25, 2018-Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals (7:05 p.m.)
•   Free Shirt Friday: Tonight, the Pirates popular Free Shirt Fridays continue as the first 20,000 fans, with paid admission, will receive a Pirates tee, presented by Xfinity.
•   Dollar Dog Night: As a special thank you to the fans, the Pirates announced the Dollar Dog fan value promotion, presented by Sugardale, on select Friday nights at PNC Park. During one of the eight "Dollar Dog" nights throughout the season, fans can visit any North Shore concession stand throughout the ballpark and purchase regular hot dogs for just one dollar each. 
•   Make-a-Wish Scholarship Reception: Pirates Charities is partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater PA and West Virginia to welcome 34 former "Wish Kids" for the Kurt Weiss Scholarship Awards Night at PNC Park. The opportunity to earn a scholarship is offered to any Wish Kid who is a senior in high school and intends to pursue post-secondary education. The scholarship is named in honor of Kurt Weiss, a Wish Kid who now practices medicine in the Pittsburgh area. Kurt will be present to recognize the students' accomplishments. The students will take part in a program in the PNC Park Press Conference Room, will be recognized on the field prior to tonight's game and will be guests of the Pirates for dinner and the game.
•   EMS Night: Tonight, the Pirates welcome Emergency Medical Staff to PNC Park with a special ticket offer for EMS community members to enjoy an evening at PNC Park and celebrate their contributions to the Pittsburgh area. For more information and tickets, visit Pirates.com/EMS.   
o   Pregame Ceremony: As the Pirates celebrate EMS Week, the City of Pittsburgh EMS Honor Guard and representatives will join us on-field as we thank them for their service to our community. 
Saturday, May 26, 2018-Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals (4:05 p.m.) 
•   Block Party: Come down early to join us before today's game for the Saturday Jim Beam Block Party starting at 2:30 p.m. on Federal Street. Fans are invited to come party on the street as food and beer sales will be available and a live music with local artist Chris Higbee. Pirates alumni Michael McKenry will sign autographs at the Leinenkugel Bar that will be located on Federal Street.
•   Camo Bucket Hat: Today, the first 20,000 fans with paid admission will receive a Pirates camo bucket hat, presented by Dunkin' Donuts.
•   Nurses Night: Celebrate nurses as the Pirates host the third Nurses Night at PNC. Tickets for the package are specially priced for nurses, their family and friends and are available at pirates.com/nurses. 
Sunday, May 27, 2018-Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals (1:35 p.m.)- Kids Day 
•   Kids Day: Come down early and join the fun as the #1 Cochran Family Fun Zone will be open on Federal Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lined up outside PNC Park will be inflatable rides, face painting, information about the Bucaroos Kids Club, presented by Chick-fil-A and more.
•   Kids Camo Socks: Today, all kids ages 14 and younger, with paid admission, will receive a special Pirates camo socks, presented by Powerade and Sheetz.
•   Kids Run the Bases: Kids attending today's game are invited to stick around after to run the bases on the field at PNC Park with the Kids Run the Bases, presented by Rivendale. 
•   Day School Graduating Class: Today the Pirates will welcome the Children's Institute Day Schools graduating class. The kids will participate in a special meet-and-greet in the PNC Park Press Conference room pregame and enjoy today's game from a PNC luxury suite, courtesy of Pirates Charities. 
Monday, May 28, 2018- Pirates vs. Chicago Cubs (1:35 p.m.)-Memorial Day 
•   God Bless and National Anthem: Today, the Chamber Choir of Trinity Christian School will perform God Bless America and The National Anthem from behind the plate pregame.
•   Honoring the Fallen: Today, in a pregame, on-field ceremony, World War II Veteran Ewing Ahlin, a 93-year-old U.S. Marine Corp veteran from Bethel Park, will stand in honor of those lives lost serving our country.
•   First Pitch: Today, the Pirates welcome Master Sgt. First Sgt. Tammanica Muse from the 911 Air Refueling Wing. Muse was named the United States Air Force Reserve Command Sgt. of the Year.
•   Moment of Remembrance: Today, at 3 p.m. there will be a pause in play for a moment of silence in recognition of the National Moment of Remembrance to honor those lives lost serving our country.
Tuesday, May 29, 2018-Pirates vs. Chicago Cubs (7:05 p.m.)
•   Pirates Play Ball Team of the Game: The Pirates continue the season-long initiative honoring a youth baseball/softball team(s) of the game during every Tuesday home game. Tonight, the Pirates will honor the Pittsburgh Predators girls 16U softball team. The Predators are winners of multiple tournaments this past fall and winter and the girls collectively carry a 3.8 team GPA in school. 
•   Pups in the Park: Fans can enjoy Bucco baseball with their pooch as the Pirates host one of 11 Pup Nights, presented by Rachael Ray Nutrish, at PNC Park. Each ticket package (1 person & 1 dog) costs just $36 with additional human tickets available for $36 each. Pirates Charities 50/50 Raffles
The Pirates Charities 50/50 Raffle, supported by Rivers Casino, will take place during each Pirates home game throughout the season. Raffle ticket prices are two (2) tickets for $5, five (5) tickets for $10, 20 tickets for $20 and 80 tickets for $40, with all proceeds benefiting Pirates Charities. Raffle ticket sales close after the last out in the sixth inning. The winning number will be drawn and announced in the 8th inning and the winner will receive 50 percent of the total pot. Winning numbers will also be posted on pirates.com/5050raffle within three business days.
