Players Weekend got off to an unforgettable start on Friday, with personalized apparel, nicknames and unique designs on display on a night that also featured mammoth home runs and incredible plays around MLB.

Giancarlo Stanton belted his MLB-leading 48th and 49th homers of the season, continuing his torrid second-half run with September approaching. With the name "Cruz" on the back of his uniform -- Stanton's full name is Giancarlo Cruz-Michael Stanton, and his mother calls him Cruz -- he was certainly on cruise control at the plate.
