The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that two Minor League players have been suspended following violations of their respective Drug Prevention and Treatment Programs.

Free agent Minor League pitcher Raudi Perez has received a 56-game suspension after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Drug Prevention and Treatment Program for Minor League Players Assigned Outside of the United States and Canada.

Washington National Minor League catcher Francisco Rivero, who is currently on the roster of the rookie-level Florida Complex League Nationals, has received a 56-game suspension after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Joint Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The suspension of Perez will be effective upon his signing with a Major League organization, while the suspension of Rivero will be effective at the start of the 2027 Florida Complex League season.
