MLB Pipeline's Prospect Team of the Week honors the best performances from the previous seven days. Any Minor Leaguer currently on an organization Top 30 Prospects list on our Prospect Watch is eligible.
No hitter did more damage last week than Astros No. 2 prospect Kyle Tucker, who earned Prospect Team of the Week honors with Triple-A Fresno for a third time this season after he led all Top 30 prospects in home runs (six), RBIs (13) and total bases (32).

The big week helped the 21-year-old outfielder push his season home run and stolen-base totals to 23 and 21, respectively, marking Tucker's second straight campaign with at least 20 homers and 20 steals.
Overall, this week's squad features four Top 100 prospects, with Eloy Jimenez (No. 3) and Jarred Kelenic (No. 66) joining Tucker (No. 8) to comprise a loaded outfield group, and Michael Chavis (No. 98) earning his second PTOW nod in three weeks, as well as two more PTOW returnees in second baseman Vidal Brujan and shortstop Richie Martin.

2018 Prospect Teams of the Week
C: Riley Adams, Dunedin Blue Jays (Class A Advanced)

Adams' .643 average (9-for-14) for Dunedin last week was tops among all qualified Top 30 prospects. The 2017 third-round pick appeared in only four games but posted multiple hits in three of them, highlighted by a pair of three-hit performances on Wednesday and Sunday. After a lackluster first half, Adams has rebounded to bat .324/.427/.459 with 12 extra-base hits and 15 RBIs in his past 32 games.
1B: Evan White, Modesto Nuts (Class A Advanced)

White homered as part of a four-hit performance on Tuesday and went deep again the following day. The 22-year-old first baseman ultimately collected at least one hit and one RBI in four of his five games for Modesto, and he finished tied for second among Top 30 prospects in RBIs. With a .405/.477/.784 line, five home runs and 23 RBIs in 19 games this month, White is finishing his first full regular season on a high note.
2B: Vidal Brujan, Charlotte Stone Crabs (Class A Advanced)

Brujan enjoyed a career night at the plate on Wednesday, going 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs, five RBIs and four runs scored out of the leadoff spot for Charlotte. He also reached twice via a walk and stole three bases in the contest. For context: No player in Major League history has had three hits, four runs, two home runs, five RBIs and three stolen bases in a game. The 20-year-old switch-hitter has slashed .394/.488/.690 with 11 extra-base hits, 21 runs and 11 steals in 19 games since his promotion to the Florida State League on Aug. 6.

3B: Michael Chavis, Portland Sea Dogs/Pawtucket Red Sox (Double-A/Triple-A)

Chavis began his week with five games in the Eastern League before advancing to Triple-A and erupting for five extra-base hits (2 HR, 3 2B) in his first two games with Pawtucket before a 3-for-5 showing on Sunday. He logged at least two hits, two runs and two RBIs in all three contests en route to a .571 average, six RBIs and seven runs scored. It netted Chavis PTOW honors for a second time in 2018, though this week's appearance is his first as a third baseman. The 23-year-old is raking at a .379 clip with nine extra-base hits during his 15-game hitting streak between the two levels. He's swung the bat particularly well in August, batting .422 with six homers and 16 RBIs over 24 games.

SS: Richie Martin, Midland RockHounds (Double-A)

Martin posted his first multihomer game on Thursday, when he connected on a pair of solo shots for Midland en route to his third straight multihit game. After three underwhelming offensive seasons to begin his career, Martin, the A's first-round pick in 2015, has produced a .288/.358/.408 line with 36 extra-base hits and 22 steals over 112 Double-A games as part of a resurgent 2018 campaign.

Tucker returned to Fresno from the Major Leagues on Wednesday to go 3-for-4 with five RBIs and a pair of home runs, including a game-tying grand slam in the top of the ninth inning. He went 4-for-5 with a homer the next day, posted his second two-homer game of the week on Friday and then launched a walk-off three-run blast on Saturday night. And while he would go homerless on Sunday, Tucker still played the hero by delivering a walk-off single in extra innings to cap a monster week at the plate.

The 2018 first-round pick recorded multiple hits in each of his five games for Kingsport, tallying four two-hit performances as well as one three-hit game. He went deep on both Wednesday and Thursday and ultimately drove in at least one run in all five contests. The 19-year-old outfielder is hitting .483 with 13 RBIs during his eight-game hitting streak, and he owns a .333/.385/.542 line with 12 extra-base hits and 21 RBIs in 23 games this month.
OF: Eloy Jimenez, Charlotte Knights (Triple-A)

Jimenez posted back-to-back four-hit performances early in the week -- going 4-for-7 during a doubleheader on Wednesday and then 4-for-5 the next day -- and then fell a home run short of the cycle while reaching base four times on Sunday. He ultimately recorded multiple hits in three games, hit safely in all six contests and finished tied for most hits (14) among Top 30 prospects. The 21-year-old is has nothing left to prove at the Triple-A level, where he boasts a .364/.407/.620 line with 11 homers and 32 RBIs in 48 games.

LHP: Aaron Ashby, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Class A)

The 2018 fourth-rounder set a career high with 12 strikeouts on Friday in his second consecutive double-digit strikeout performance -- he fanned 10 over six innings in his previous start -- for Wisconsin. The 20-year-old lefty has been a force since his promotion the Midwest League, where he's registered a 2.23 ERA with 42 strikeouts in 32 1/3 innings (six starts).
RHP: Dean Kremer, Bowie Baysox (Double-A)

Kremer picked up a pair of victories last week courtesy of a pair of dominant starts for Bowie. He posted six scoreless frames on both Tuesday and Sunday and combined to allow just five hits while striking out 14 between the two starts. Acquired from the Dodgers in the Manny Machado blockbuster, the 22-year-old right-hander has pitched to a 2.29 ERA with 43 strikeouts over 39 1/3 innings (seven starts) in the Eastern League.
RP: Thomas Burrows, Mississippi Braves (Double-A)

Burrows was flawless in his three relief appearances last week as he recorded one save and struck out four over four innings while also completing at least 1 1/3 innings in all three of his outings. The 23-year-old lefty has been excellent since he joined the M-Braves' bullpen, posting a 1.80 ERA with three saves and 20 strikeouts in 15 innings (11 appearances).
