The latest edition of MLBPipeline.com's Prospect Team of the Week (Aug. 8 - 14) is loaded with familiar names. There are four players making their third appearance on PTOW, and two more making their fourth. There are two prospects who had loud introductions for their new clubs after changing organizations prior to the Aug. 1 non-waiver Trade Deadline. There are even three hitters who rank among the Minor League leaders in home runs.

C: Raudy Read, Potomac Nationals (Class A Advanced)

Read hit safely in all six games for Class A Advanced Potomac, finishing the week with 10 hits. He notched half of those hits in the P-Nats' 13-inning loss against Frederick on Friday, when he went 5-for-7 with a pair of home runs -- highlighted by a game-tying solo shot in the top of the ninth -- as well as a double and three RBIs. After a slow first half, Read, 22, has hit .277/.333/.468 in 37 games since the All-Star break.
1B: Jake Bauers, Montgomery Biscuits (Double-A)
(Rays No. 3 prospect)

After getting his first taste of Double-A in 2015 at age 19, Bauers, No. 84 overall on the Top 100, has continued to elevate his stock this year in his return to the Southern League, especially in terms of his power. By going deep twice last week for Montgomery, the 20-year-old first baseman/outfielder already has set a new career-high this season with 13 home runs. On top of that, Bauers also has produced a .284/.373/.437 slash line with 10 steals and 60 walks against 75 strikeouts through 114 games.

2B: Travis Demeritte, Carolina Mudcats (Class A Advanced)
(Braves No. 9 prospect)

Demeritte began his Braves career slowly as he batted .132 in his first 10 games for Class A Advanced Carolina after coming over from the Rangers in the Lucas Harrell-Dario Alvarez trade on July 29. The 21-year-old finally settled in at the plate last week, however, hitting a pair of home runs -- his first as a member of the Braves -- while reaching base five times on Friday, in what was his fifth multi-homer performance of the season. Overall, Demeritte has gone deep 27 times in 104 games this season between the two teams.

3B: Matt Chapman, Midland RockHounds (Double-A)

Despite batting just .318, Chapman finds himself back on the PTOW after he notched three home runs and three doubles to finish the week with eight RBIs in six games. He drove in three of those runs with his fourth two-homer game of the season on Wednesday, which increased his Texas League-leading home run and RBI totals to 29 and 83, respectively.

SS: Erik González, Columbus Clippers (Triple-A)

Fresh off of his first stint in the Major Leagues, Gonzalez returned to Triple-A Columbus last week and had six of his seven hits go for extra bases, as he belted four home runs and a pair of doubles across six contests. The power-heavy performance pushed his season home run total to 10, a new career-high for the 24-year-old shortstop.

OF: Aaron Judge, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders/New York Yankees (Triple-A/MLB)

It was a memorable week for Judge, who homered in his first big league at-bat at Yankee Stadium on Saturday -- when he went back-to-back with fellow Yankees outfield prospect Tyler Austin -- and then went deep once more in his first at-bat the following day. Prior to his callup, the No. 27 overall prospect batted .270/.366/.489 with 19 home runs and 65 RBIs in 93 games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

OF: Johan Mieses, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Class A Advanced)

Mieses has made a name for himself this season with his power display in the Class A Advanced California League, where he's connected on a circuit-best 26 home runs in 104 games for Rancho Cucamonga. The 21-year-old homered in four straight games to put a bow on his impressive week, giving him six home runs in his last 10 games and 15 in 44 second-half games.
OF: Mitchell Hansen, Ogden Raptors (Rookie)
(Dodgers No. 27 prospect)

After he began his week with an 0-for-3 performance, Hansen collected 11 hits in his next five contests -- highlighted by a perfect 4-for-4 showing at the plate Sunday during which he homered, doubled and drove in four runs -- for Rookie-level Ogden to finish with a .500 average. Two of his hits left the yard, and he also tallied 11 RBIs and scored nine runs. After scuffling in his professional debut last season, the 2015 second-rounder has hit .327 with 10 home runs through 48 games in the Pioneer League.
LHP: Ty Blach, Sacramento River Cats (Triple-A)

Blach has been dealing of late, and that trend continued last Wednesday when the 25-year-old southpaw tossed his second shutout and third complete game of the season for Triple-A Sacramento. He scattered two hits, walked a pair and struck out seven while throwing a season-high 123 pitches (85 strikes) in the outing. Blach has now thrown a pair of complete games across his past five starts, during which he's posted a 1.59 ERA and a 0.79 WHIP while holding opposing hitters to a .167 average.

RHP: Jharel Cotton, Nashville Sounds (Triple-A)

Making his second start for Triple-A Nashville after being acquired at the Trade Deadline from the Dodgers as part of the deal for Josh Reddick and Rich Hill, Cotton carried a perfect bid into the ninth inning Tuesday before allowing a two-out single. It was still an impressive performance by the 24-year-old right-hander, who struck a season-high 12 hitters while throwing 73 of his 108 pitches for strikes. For the season, Cotton has pitched to a 4.33 ERA with 136 strikeouts against 33 walks over 112 1/3 innings (24 games/18 starts) in the Pacific Coast League.
