SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The Rangers announced Friday that they have promoted Paul Kruger to assistant director of player development. Kruger, who has been with the organization since 2009, formerly served as the manager of Minor League operations.
"This promotion is a clear recognition of Paul's contributions over many departments," Rangers senior director of player development Mike Daly said in a press release. "Since Paul joined the Rangers as an intern in our Dominican Republic complex in 2009, he has consistently exemplified extraordinary work."
Kruger was hired full-time by the club in 2010 and served as the coordinator of Minor League and international operations from 2012-14.
