DENVER -- Another day, another comeback.
The Rangers' midsummer slump is over and they've recaptured their winning swagger, winning for the 12th time in 17 games with a 7-5 come-from-behind victory over the Rockies on Tuesday afternoon.
"We went through a little stretch where everything was negative for us," third baseman Adrián Beltré said. "But over the last two weeks we have started to play better. Hopefully we can keep it going. Now is the time for us to create some more separation."
The Rangers appeared ready to go quietly in the final game of their eight-game road trip. They managed just three hits against Rockies starter Tyler Chatwood through six innings and trailed, 5-1, going into the seventh. But they erupted for six runs in the final three innings for their 35th comeback win this season, the most in the Major Leagues.

The Rangers rallied for three runs in the ninth inning for a 4-3 victory on Monday night.
"Look, in this ballpark, no game is over until the last out is made," manager Jeff Banister said. "It took a while for our guys to get in the swing offensively. But our guys stayed engaged and we had some guys step up. We talk about the heart, resiliency and grit of this club, it continues to happen. These guys bring it to life every day."
The Rangers rally was made possible by middle reliever Alex Claudio, who pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief of starter A.J. Griffin and ended up getting a well-deserved win.
"I can't say enough about Claudio and what he continues to do for us," Banister said. "A tremendous outing from him."
Nomar Mazara got the rally started with an RBI single in the seventh to make it 5-2, and then the Rangers went to work in the eighth against the Rockies' bullpen.
Right-handed reliever Scott Oberg struck out Shin-Soo Choo to start the inning, but Ian Desmond, Rougned Odor and Carlos Beltrán followed with three straight singles to score one, and Beltre tied it up with a two-run double to deep center.

"We have a lineup that's so deep, even if we fall behind, everybody knows we have the talent to come back," Beltre said. "Obviously, we'd like to score early, but as long as we win, it's fun."
Left-handed reliever Jake McGee took over and retired Mitch Moreland on a fly to left. But Elvis Andrus singled up the middle to bring home Beltre with the go-ahead run. Andrus had the game-tying two-run single on Monday night and is hitting .378 this season with runners in scoring position.
"I love those situations, especially with two outs," Andrus said. "I really try to visualize hitting in those situations. It's a great opportunity to shoot the ball up the middle. Get a good pitch to hit and hit it up the middle."
Odor added an RBI double in the ninth and the Rangers headed back to Texas with a 5-3 record on their road trip.
"It's pretty fun right now," Moreland said. "We've been real good all year … we continue to play until the final out. It's a lot of fun to do that, when you look at this team and can count on pretty much anybody."
