September 22nd, 2017

The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Park on Monday to wrap up the regular season with a seven game homestand against the Houston Astros and Oakland Athletics.
The homestand launches with the final installment of the Silver Boot Series, presented by the Texas Lottery, as the Astros arrive in Arlington with a 9-7 edge in the season series. Monday, September 25 at 7:05 p.m.; Tuesday, September 26 at 7:05 p.m.; and Wednesday, September 27 at 1:05 p.m. mark the final three contests in the quest for the Silver Boot.
On Tuesday, FOX Sports Southwest and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation will host a special benefit during the FOX Sports Southwest telecast to raise funds in support of Hurricane Harvey victims. The hurricane relief benefit will feature a live online auction, where fans can bid on one-of-a-kind sports and entertainment packages. Rangers Live host John Rhadigan will provide updates throughout the game from the Rebecca Creek Saloon.
Fans can link to the online auction by visiting www.FoxSportsSouthwest.com. Cash donations will also be accepted, and net proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Harvey.
Wednesday's matinee will mark another Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Day.
Oakland comes to town for a four game set Thursday, September 28 at 7:05 p.m.; Friday, September 29 at 7:05 p.m.; Saturday, September 30 at 7:05 p.m.; and Sunday, October 1 at 2:05 p.m.
On Thursday, the first 10,000 fans will receive a Papa John's Texas Rangers Throwback Thursday Collector Pin commemorating Adrian Beltre's 2016 Gold Glove.
Friday Fireworks on September 29 will be set to players' walkup music.
Saturday is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, as the Rangers will honor law enforcement officials and the Peace Officers Angel Foundation with pregame ceremonies, bringing dispatchers and motorcycle officers on the field to line the outfield.
Pudge Rodriguez will be on hand Saturday to sign copies of his book, They Call Me Pudge: My Life Playing the Game I Love, from 4:30-5:45 p.m. in the Kid's Zone. Rodriguez is expected to sign a limited number of books during the signing, which will be open to everyone with a ticket to that night's game against the A's.
Fans wishing to attend the signing should go to the East Centerfield Gate at Globe Life Park and obtain a wristband prior to 4:30 p.m.
