April 10th, 2018

CHICAGO -- The Rays acquired outfielder from the D-backs in exchange for cash considerations on Tuesday.
To make room on the 40-man roster, right-hander (recovering from Tommy John surgery) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.
Hazelbaker, 30, will join Triple-A Durham.
Hazelbaker is a left-handed hitter who can play all three outfield positions. He split last season -- his first in the D-backs' organization -- between Triple-A Reno and the Majors, appearing in 41 games and making seven starts at the Major League level.
While with Arizona, Hazelbaker hit .346/.443/.577 with two doubles, two triples and two home runs. He hit .370/.469/.741 off the bench and .313/.421/.375 as a pinch-hitter.
Over two seasons in the Majors with the D-backs and the Cardinals, Hazelbaker has hit .258/.327/.500 with nine doubles, five triples, 14 home runs and 38 RBIs in 155 games. He was designated for assignment by Arizona on Friday.
