Jennings day to day with hamstring injury

ST. PETERSBURG -- Rays center fielder Desmond Jennings is day to day with a tight left hamstring after injuring it during the Rays' 10-7 loss to the Tigers.
Jennings, who said he felt fine before the game, doubled in the second inning and appeared to wince rounding first base, favoring his left leg.
"It just tightened up on me," Jennings said. "It should be good."
When asked if he can play Friday, Jennings replied: "We'll see tomorrow. Just tightened up. See how it goes."
Jennings played center field in the top of the third, but he was lifted for pinch-hitter Nick Franklin in the bottom half of the frame.

With the bases loaded and two outs, Franklin blooped a double into left and three baserunners scored.
