Injury: Left shoulder inflammation
IL date: March 24 (60-day IL, retroactive to March 23, transferred from 10-day IL on May 27)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Initially sidelined by a right shoulder injury, had his rehab assignment stalled by a sprained ankle on April 11, then shut down May 12 due to inflammation in his left shoulder. Had two at-bats against Craig Kimbrel in live BP on June 9 and aiming to start rehab assignment June 29. (Last updated June 19)
RHP Manuel Rodríguez
Injury: Right flexor strain, elbow surgery
IL date: Feb. 10 (60-day IL)
Expected return: July
Status: Underwent surgery to repair a right elbow flexor strain on Aug. 8, 2025, with target return around midseason. Scheduled to face hitters in live batting practice on June 30. (Last updated June 19)

Injury: Hernia
IL date: May 17 (10-day IL, retroactive to May 16)
Expected return: Possibly July
Status: Scratched from May 16 lineup and placed on IL May 17. Manager Kevin Cash initially said he could require 6-8 weeks of recovery after the operation. Doing well and progressing as tolerated. (Last updated June 19)

Injury: Right shoulder impingement, subscapularis strain
IL date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22; transferred to 60-day IL on April 24)

Status: Reported soreness in back of right shoulder on April 15. Further evaluation revealed a new injury, a subscapularis strain. Had a setback while playing catch from 75 feet, so he underwent a PRP injection. Should resume throwing before the end of June. (Last updated June 19) More >>
RHP Michael Grove
Injury: Right labrum surgery recovery
IL date: April 14 (15-day IL; transferred to 60-day IL on April 20)
Expected return: Possibly June
Status: Signed to a Major League contract on April 14. Began a rehab assignment with two one-inning outings for the Rookie-level Florida Complex League Rays before moving to Triple-A Durham, where he's been on a schedule pitching in two-inning stints. (Last updated June 19)
RHP Jesse Scholtens
Injury: Right wrist strain
IL date: May 26 (15-day IL)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Felt soreness during recent series in New York and while pitching in Baltimore on May 25. Imaging revealed mild tendon inflammation. Threw a 20-pitch bullpen on June 8 but not yet nearing a return to game action. Hopes to resume catch play June 20. (Last updated June 19)
RHP Steven Wilson
Injury: Lumbar disk inflammation
IL date: March 25 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Before All-Star break
Status: Did not pitch all spring while dealing with a back issue that required an injection. Also underwent an appendectomy. Advanced from playing catch on flat ground to a mound progression. (Last updated June 19)
RHP Jonathan Heasley
Injury: Right elbow stress reaction
IL date: June 2 (60-day IL, retroactive to May 29)
Expected return: TBD
Status: After being designated for assignment on May 29 following an outing on May 27, Heasley was returned to the roster on June 2 due to an injury he suffered while active with the Rays and placed on the 15-day IL with no timeline for his return. RHP Ryan Pepiot
Injury: Right hip inflammation
IL date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22; transferred to 60-day IL on April 14)
Expected return: Spring Training 2027
Status: Underwent season-ending surgery on May 13. Multiple exams revealed "normal" wear and tear on labrum and femoroacetabular impingement, which limited his leg's range of motion.
