Injury: Right forearm tightness
IL date: Sept. 15 (15-day IL, retroactive to Sept. 13)
Expected return: Postseason

Injury: Left forearm tightness

Expected return: Possibly late September

Injury: Right hamstring strain
IL date: Sept. 15 (60-day IL)
Expected return: 2027
Status: Having dealt with injuries without playing in the Majors all season, Melton was recalled and transferred to the 60-day IL to clear a 40-man roster spot on Sept. 15 after going on the Minor League IL on Sept. 9. (Last updated Sept. 15)

Injury: Left shoulder inflammation
IL date: March 24 (retroactive to March 23; transferred to 60-day IL on May 27)
Expected return: 2027

RHP Edwin Uceta
Injury: Right shoulder impingement, subscapularis strain
IL date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22; transferred to 60-day IL on April 24)
Expected return: 2027
Status: Had a PRP injection in July after a setback while playing catch. Resumed throwing but felt his symptoms return, so he was sent for another MRI. "Not ideal for him," manager Kevin Cash said. (Last updated Aug. 28)
RHP Jonathan Heasley
Injury: Right elbow stress reaction
IL date: June 2 (retroactive to May 29; transferred to 60-day IL on June 8)
Expected return: TBD
Status: After being designated for assignment on May 29 following an outing on May 27, was returned to the roster on June 2 due to an injury he suffered while active with the Rays and placed on IL with no timeline for his return. (Last updated June 8)
RHP Ryan Pepiot
Injury: Right hip inflammation
IL date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22; transferred to 60-day IL on April 14)
Expected return: Spring Training 2027
Status: Underwent season-ending surgery on May 13. Multiple exams revealed "normal" wear and tear on labrum and femoroacetabular impingement, which limited his leg's range of motion. Expecting a six-month recovery followed by a full offseason to be ready for Spring Training. (Last updated May 13)
