Injury: Left oblique tightness
Expected return: Possibly Feb. 28
Status: Was scratched from the lineup on Feb. 22 as a precaution after getting through his pregame stretching and hitting, only to feel it during a later stretching session. He is expected to return to the field as soon as Saturday. (Last updated Feb. 26)
INF Jadher Areinamo
Injury: Right hamstring tightness

Injury: Right shoulder soreness
Expected return: Possibly Opening Day
Status: Withdrew from World Baseball Classic on Feb. 15, then “didn’t feel great” when playing catch from longer distances on Feb. 19. Exam revealed inflammation. Received a cortisone injection on Feb. 20, with a week off from throwing prescribed. (Last updated Feb. 21)
RHP Manuel Rodríguez
Injury: Right flexor strain, elbow surgery
IL date: Feb. 10 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Midseason 2026
