Williams hits trio of homers in win for Montgomery

, the Rays' No. 10 prospect, put on an offensive show on Wednesday night in Montgomery, Ala. The 22-year-old outfielder powered Double-A Montgomery to an 8-4 win over Mobile with a trio of homers.
Williams finished 3-for-5 and also matched his career high with six RBIs. The power barrage marked the first multi-homer performance of Williams' professional career since he was selected in the second round of the 2013 Draft by the D-backs. The 22-year-old's other six-RBI game came with Montgomery on July 26 of last season.

Williams put the Biscuits on the board with a two-run homer in the second inning, giving his club an early 2-1 lead. In his next trip to the plate, he hit another two run homer, this one in the fourth, before hitting his final two-run blast in the seventh.
Williams is now batting .303 with a career-high 14 homers and 69 RBIs through 91 games this season.
