Arozarena, who is aiming for his second straight 20-20 season, guides the Rays' lineup against Red Sox rookie starter Josh Winckowski, while Tampa Bay sends its ace and potential All-Star Game starter Shane McClanahan to the mound. The left-hander leads American League starters in ERA and is second in strikeouts per nine innings.

But McClanahan will have his hands full with a frightening Devers-led Boston lineup. An early-season AL MVP contender, Devers is enjoying the best first half of his already impressive young career. The 25-year-old has the second-highest batting average (.326) and second-most extra-base hits (47) in the American League. Devers also has the most hard-hit balls (35) among American League third basemen.

Tonight's matchup is between a pair of teams fighting to maintain a playoff spot in a competitive AL Wild Card race. Tampa Bay holds a half-game lead over Boston for the first AL Wild Card spot entering Wednesday.
