Kivlehan, McGuire sent outright to Triple-A

DeSclafani, Finnegan activated from 60-day DL

CINCINNATI -- The Reds had multiple transactions on Friday that left 33 players on their 40-man roster and created space to protect players for December's Rule 5 Draft.
Outfielder and pitcher were sent outright to Triple-A Louisville. And in two procedural moves, starting pitchers and were activated from the 60-day disabled list.
Shortstop Zach Vincej was claimed off of waivers by the Mariners, and catcher was claimed by the Marlins.
Kivlehan spent the entire season in the big leagues with the Reds as a bench player. In 115 games, he batted .208/.304/.399 with nine home runs and 26 RBIs.
Vincej, Wallach and McGuire were all September callups. Vincej, known for his strong defense, was 1-for-9 with Cincinnati after spending the season at Louisville. Wallach was originally acquired from Miami with DeSclafani in the Dec. 11, 2014, trade for pitcher Mat Latos. He was 1-for-11 with the Reds.
