CINCINNATI -- The Reds pulled out a 4-3 walk-off win over the Royals in 10 innings on Tuesday behind an RBI single from for the winning run.

It was a 3-3 game with one out when Dunn lined reliever John Schreiber's 2-1 sweeper into right field to score automatic runner Spencer Steer from second base.

Trailing 3-2 to open the bottom of the ninth inning, pinch-hitter Will Benson pulled a 1-1 changeup from Kansas City closer Lucas Erceg into the right-field seats for a game-tying homer. With two outs, Sal Stewart walked to represent the potential winning run and Eugenio Suárez also walked, however the Royals were able to end the threat and send the game into extras.

Before Benson's homer, the Reds had notched only two hits -- but both were home runs hit by Steer. In the fifth inning against Royals starter Noah Cameron, Steer took him deep to left-center field for Cincinnati's first hit after the lefty had been perfect for 4 1/3 innings.

After Cameron departed at 87 pitches and seven innings, Steer returned for the Reds' second hit -- a leadoff homer to right field against lefty reliever Matt Strahm to make it a one-run game.
