Dodgers activate Hill, option Stewart
May 8th, 2018
LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers reinstated pitcher Rich Hill from the 10-day disabled list to start Tuesday night's game against the D-backs and optioned Brock Stewart back to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Hill, 30, has been out nearly three weeks -- first with a torn nail on the middle left finger, then for an infection in the same finger, then being pushed back from an expected weekend return because of the injury to Clayton Kershaw. Hill is 1-1 with a 6.00 ERA in four starts.
Stewart has made two relief appearances for the Dodgers this season in two callups.
