Left-hander Christian Friedrich allowed two hits and a walk with 10 strikeouts in seven scoreless innings Saturday night.

Padres starting pitchers had a 2.02 earned run average in the four-game series against the Colorado Rockies with three quality starts.
Left-hander allowed six hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Thursday night. Left-hander allowed two hits and a walk with 10 strikeouts in seven scoreless innings Saturday night. And right-hander allowed two runs on five hits and a walk with four strikeouts in six innings Sunday afternoon.
The only non-quality start turned in during the four-game series was by . He allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk with four strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings Friday night.
Over the four games, the four Padres starters worked 26 2/3 innings and allowed six runs on 21 hits and five walks with 26 strikeouts.

• Richard has allowed one earned run in 25 innings over his last four starts for a 0.36 ERA. During the run, Richard has given up 25 hits and seven walks with 20 strikeouts.
