DENVER -- Wednesday night’s Giants-Rockies game was postponed because of rain, and was rescheduled for July 15 as part of a split doubleheader.
The teams are scheduled to play Thursday afternoon. The Rockies are skipping scheduled Wednesday’s starter, righty Jon Gray, and going with left-hander Kyle Freeland (2-5, 5.90 ERA), while the Giants are pushing their scheduled Wednesday starter, lefty Derek Holland (1-5, 5.34 ERA), to Thursday.
Wednesday’s was the second weather postponement at Coors this season. A game against the Braves was snowed out on April 10, and moved to Aug. 26.
Tickets from Wednesday’s game are valid for the game on the rescheduled date. Fans who cannot attend may exchange Wednesday’s ticket for any game throughout the remainder of the season, value for value, for the best available seating. Limits may apply. However, any exchanges must be made by first pitch on July 15.
Complimentary tickets have a value of zero dollars and may not be exchanged, and discounted tickets can be exchanged only for the amount paid.
There are no cash refunds. Ticket exchanges are accepted at the Coors Field Ticket Office and all Rockies Dugout Store locations. Secondary market customers looking to exchange tickets must contact the customer service department of the company from which the tickets were bought, and the tickets are not valid for exchange at Rockies Dugout Stores.
On July 15, parking lots will open at 10:30 a.m. Call 303-ROCKIES for information.
