ATLANTA -- and will begin their respective Minor League rehab assignments with the FCL Braves in North Port, Fla. on Monday.

The Braves haven’t said how long either of the rehab assignments might last. Acuña has been sidelined since straining his left hamstring on June 9. He’ll likely not need as much time as Kim, who is just trying to right himself to the point where he might provide some value to the one-year, $20 million contract he signed in January.

Kim had offseason right middle finger surgery to repair a torn tendon and has struggled mightily since ending a nine-game rehab assignment in May. He has hit .068 with a .239 OPS in 27 games for Atlanta.

Acuña has hit .251 with seven homers, 15 stolen bases and a .794 OPS over 53 games this year. The Braves' right fielder missed a little more than two weeks after initially straining his left hamstring on May 2. He returned on May 19 and produced a .893 OPS over 19 games before aggravating the hamstring strain.
