LHP Bailey Falter
Injury: Left elbow inflammation
IL date: April 3; retroactive to April 2 (15-day IL)
Expected return: Late April
Status: Has been battling valgus extension overload (VEO) in left elbow, experiencing pain when extending. Received injection and will be shut down for next few days. (updated April 3)
RHP Carlos Estévez
Injury: Left foot contusion
IL date: April 1; retroactive to March 29 (15-day IL)
Expected return: Late April
Status: Hit by a comebacker in ninth inning March 28 and has been in a walking boot since. Will let foot heal before building back up in intensity and go on rehab assignment. (updated: April 1) More >>
2B Michael Massey
Injury: Left calf strain
IL date: March 25, retroactive to March 22 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Beginning of April
Status: Suffered calf strain on March 6 and left off Opening Day roster. Began rehab assignment March 31 with Triple-A Omaha and will be evaluated for potential return by end of week. (updated: April 1)
RHP Stephen Kolek
Injury: Left oblique strain
IL date: March 25, retroactive to March 22 (15-day IL)
Expected return: Late April/early May
Status: Suffered Grade 1+ oblique strain on Feb. 25 and began throwing bullpen sessions in mid-March. Threw two innings (34 pitches) March 28 in extended Spring Training. (updated: March 28) More >>
RHP James McArthur
Injury: Right elbow inflammation
IL date: March 25, retractive to March 22 (15-day IL)
Expected return: TBD
Status: Missed all of 2025 after right elbow surgery, so took ramp-up this spring slow. Expected to continue it in Arizona before a rehab assignment. (updated: March 25)
RHP Alec Marsh
Injury: Right shoulder surgery
IL date: Feb. 12 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Late 2026 at best
Status: After missing 2025 with shoulder issues, underwent right labral surgery in October. Rehabbing in Surprise, Ariz., during Spring Training but likely out for year. (updated: Feb. 12)
