Made his Majors debut on June 28 vs. Cleveland and was charged with seven runs on six hits in 1.0 inning and was optioned to Triple-A Omaha two days later... After allowing seven runs in his debut, he pitched to a 2.01 ERA (5 ER in 22.1 IP) in 17 appearances (two starts) over his final three stints with the Royals... Named Royals Pitcher of the Month for September/ October after going 1-0 with four saves in 12 outings, while holding opponents scoreless in 16.1 innings and to a 0.96 average (5-for-52)...
