Royals' 35-game spring schedule revealed

Pitchers, catchers report on Feb. 14 to Surprise, Ariz.

KANSAS CITY -- The Royals released their Spring Training schedule Tuesday and will open Cactus League play on Feb. 25 against their Surprise Stadium-companion Rangers.
Pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 14, the full squad reports on Feb. 17, with the first full-squad workout scheduled for Feb. 18.
Aside from the Spring Training opener, the Royals have 16 home games as part of their 35-game schedule.
Spring Training information
Only one night home game is scheduled -- March 10 against Oakland at 7:05 CT.
Another highlight for the Royals includes hosting the Venezuelan national team on March 8.
The Royals will finish their spring schedule with a two-game series against the Rangers in Arlington on March 31 (7:05 p.m. CT) and April 1 (1:05 p.m. CT) before opening the regular season on April 3 at Minnesota.
