Royals release outfielder Travis Snider

The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have released outfielder Travis Snider from his minor league contract. Snider, 28, originally signed with the club as a minor league free agent on January 30.

The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have released outfielder Travis Snider from his minor league contract. Snider, 28, originally signed with the club as a minor league free agent on January 30.
Following the move, the Royals have 33 players in Major League camp, in addition to left-handed pitchers Jason Vargas and Mike Minor, who are both on the 60-day D.L. Of the 33 remaining players, five of them are non-roster invitees
