The Twins returned catcher Ryan Jeffers from his rehab assignment and reinstated him from the 10-day injured list on Friday.
Jeffers, who missed 46 games with a left hamate bone fracture, recently played in five games for Triple-A St. Paul on a rehab assignment, hitting .375 (6-for-16) with one double, two home runs, two RBIs and two walks. Prior to sustaining the injury during an at-bat on May 18 vs. Houston, he hit .295 with seven doubles, one triple, seven home runs, 26 RBIs, 26 runs scored, 23 walks, a .408 on-base percentage, a .541 slugging percentage and a .949 OPS in 37 games.
To make room for Jeffers on the 26-man roster, the Twins optioned outfielder Kyler Fedko to St. Paul. Fedko went 0-for-16 with one RBI, two walks and one run scored in 14 games for the Twins.
