SEATTLE – The Seattle Mariners and Microsoft announced today an expanded partnership introducing the Microsoft Home Plate Club at T-Mobile Park and shared commitments through the Mariners SEA Change community platform. The renewed partnership will focus on community-driven activations, regional impact, philanthropic commitment and fan engagement initiatives that showcase the shared legacy of two iconic organizations with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest.

“Microsoft has been an extraordinary partner of the Seattle Mariners for many years, and this expanded commitment demonstrates what can be accomplished when organizations align behind a shared dedication to community,” said Kevin Martinez, Mariners President of Business Operations. “We’re proud to build on our longstanding relationship with Microsoft in ways that elevate the fan experience and strengthen the communities we serve.”

“Microsoft and the Mariners have grown up together here in the Puget Sound, rooted in this community and united by a shared commitment to it,” said Carol Ann Browne, Microsoft Vice President. “That connection makes this partnership especially meaningful, and I’m excited about the impact we can continue to drive together.”

“The new Microsoft Home Plate Club will create unforgettable experiences at T-Mobile Park,” said Chris Voigt, Mariners Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. “In addition, we’re collaborating to expand access to the game in our communities, while using the power of baseball to bring people together to drive positive change across the Pacific Northwest.”

Microsoft Home Plate Club:

Microsoft will leverage the partnership to offer recognition opportunities for nonprofits and community organizations through unique experiences and ticket access within the new Microsoft Home Plate Club, supporting groups dedicated to community impact across the region.

The Microsoft Home Plate Club occupies an exclusive, elevated vantage point between the Main Concourse and Club Level directly behind home plate. The club offers a unique indoor-outdoor design with all-inclusive food and a beautiful top-shelf open bar. Other amenities include VIP parking, private entry, first class seating and more.

Microsoft Salmon Run:

Building on the popular in-ballpark Microsoft Salmon Run feature, the partnership will introduce a cause-driven fundraising platform supporting local nonprofits focused on sustainability initiatives.

Microsoft will invest in regional nonprofits through a season-long fundraising campaign, and each Salmon Run winner will trigger a Microsoft donation, with opportunities for fan matching and community participation throughout the partnership.

Mariners Recess Takeover presented by Microsoft:

The Mariners will host 5–6 interactive events at local elementary schools focused on baseball, active play, player/staff engagement and student connection. Each takeover will include playground activities, equipment donations, student giveaways and memorable experiences designed to create lasting impact for students and staff. Through Microsoft’s support, each participating school will also receive a $10,000 grant to fund physical activity resources, playground enhancements, wellness initiatives, or other critical school needs.

Mariners SEA Change:

The Mariners are committed to using the club’s leadership in the community to convene partners, fans, community groups and individuals in support of programs with meaningful impact across the Pacific Northwest through Mariners SEA Change. Mariners SEA Change focuses on three key areas supported by a range of Mariners programs and partnerships designed to make lasting, meaningful progress: Ensuring Access to Baseball & Softball, Advancing Inclusion and Opportunity and Fostering a Healthy Hometown.

Mariners SEA Change is supported by iconic organizations with Pacific Northwest roots, including Microsoft, Starbucks, Alaska Airlines, Muckleshoot Casino Resort, KeyBank, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, Nike, the Mariners Care Foundation and a broad cross section of community partners.
