We love a no-look tag around here, but what about a low-five tag? Yes, we also love that. 

In the sixth inning of the Astros' 6-2 win over the Angels on Friday night, Kyle Tucker hit a ground ball that was fielded by pitcher Shohei Ohtani in front of the first-base bag. Tucker began to slow his stride as Ohtani blocked his route to first, and Ohtani raised both hands, signaling to Tucker and everyone watching that this play was over. But the tag still needed to be made, so Tucker put out his right hand and Ohtani delivered the low-five with his glove for the first out of the frame.

Ohtani found himself in a similar situation last year with Raimel Tapia of the Blue Jays. In that one, no low-five -- or even tag -- occurred. Instead, Tapia simply turned and started running toward the dugout once he realized he had no chance of reaching first, with Ohtani helpfully using his arms to guide Tapia in the right direction.
