Here are three interesting items from Game 2 of the World Series …
• Using a top-to-bottom attack on offense and relying on a strong outing by , the Cubs evened the World Series at a game apiece with a 5-1 victory over the Indians on Wednesday.

Cubs designated hitter delivered a pair of run-scoring singles in the win. The 23-year-old has played 11 postseason games and collected an RBI in seven of them. He is one of 18 players to have at least one RBI in seven of his first 11 postseason games, with a quintet of players going as high as eight of their first 11: the Pirates' Clyde Barnhart, the Yankees' Bernie Williams, the Red Sox's Nomar Garciaparra, the White Sox Joe Crede and the Mets' . Among the group at seven, Schwarber is the only one to have played for the Cubs while doing it.
