Here are three interesting items from Game 6 of the World Series …
Addison Russell drove in six runs to help the Cubs steamroll the Indians, 9-3, and force a deciding Game 7.

• With a two-run double and a grand slam, Russell tied the record for RBIs in a World Series game, first established by the Yankees' Bobby Richardson in Game 3 in 1960, and later matched by Hideki Matsui in Game 6 in 2009 and Albert Pujols in Game 3 of the '11 Fall Classic. Russell's grand slam was the 19th in World Series history, and the first in the Fall Classic since Paul Konerko hit one for the White Sox in Game 2 in '05. It was also the first World Series grand slam in Cubs history, and the first by a shortstop in the Fall Classic.
• Jake Arrieta allowed two runs on three hits in 5 2/3 innings to join Orval Overall (1908) and Lon Warneke ('35) as the only Cubs hurlers to start and win multiple games in a single World Series. Arrieta became the first starter since the Indians' Chad Ogea in '97 to start and win a World Series road game with his team facing elimination. In '97, Ogea went five innings and allowed a run in an eventual 4-1 victory.
• Russell was one of three Cubs infielders -- along with third baseman Kris Bryant and first baseman Anthony Rizzo -- to go deep in a multihit game Tuesday night. Bryant (three singles and a home run) led Chicago with four knocks, joining Stan Hicks (Game 6, 1945) as the second Cubs player to have a four-hit game in the Fall Classic. Meanwhile, Rizzo's two-run shot in the ninth inning made Chicago the first team to have three-quarters of its starting infield (not counting the catcher in this equation) go yard in a World Series game.
