Trayce's AB? Steph Curry wouldn't miss it

When one of the greatest champions in all of sports starts recording, you know something cool is about to go down.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was on hand in Los Angeles Tuesday night to watch Trayce Thompson and the Dodgers defeat the Twins, 10-3. Trayce, the younger brother of Curry’s longtime teammate Klay Thompson, didn’t start, but once he came up to the plate as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning, Curry made sure to capture the moment.

Curry whipped out his phone and got in position to record Thompson’s at-bat. The right fielder then proceeded to smack a one-out double into the left-field corner, much to the pleasure of the four-time NBA champion.

According to SportsNet LA reporter and host Kirsten Watson, manager Dave Roberts had a network staff member inform Curry, who appeared to be leaving the game, that Thompson would be pinch-hitting so he wouldn't miss the moment.

While a double got Curry fired up, perhaps he would have rather seen a triple from the younger Thompson. He is the NBA’s all-time leader in three-pointers, after all.

And don’t worry, Trayce also showed out for his brother back in July, swatting an RBI double with Klay in attendance that sent him into hysterics.
