Piscotty extends hit streak to 14 with homer

BALTIMORE -- A's outfielder Stephen Piscotty extended his hitting streak to a career-high 14 games with a solo shot in the second inning at Camden Yards of Thursday evening's 5-3 loss to Baltimore.

Piscotty's two-out blast against Orioles right-hander Dylan Bundy gave him 24 on the year, which is also a career high. He has nine home runs and 23 RBIs in his past 23 games.
