is becoming predictable.

For the third time in three rehab games with Triple-A Oklahoma City, the Dodgers outfielder crushed a two-run home run in the third inning of a road game against Reno.

Hernández teed off to center field against Aces starter Dylan Ray on Friday at Greater Nevada Field, launching a 103.7 mph, 441-foot homer to open the scoring.

Rehabbing from a Grade 1 left hamstring strain, Hernández picked up right where he left off in his first two rehab games, each of which also featured two-run dingers in the third. Expected to return next week against the Athletics in West Sacramento -- possibly as soon as Monday -- he has shown no rust through his first three rehab games.

Hernández went 2-for-7 with his pair of home runs in his first two contests with the Comets before resting on Thursday. On Friday, he had three groundouts in addition to his homer against Ray.

The Dodgers will certainly welcome Hernández back to their lineup as soon as he is ready. Batting .276 with a .784 OPS in 51 Major League games, Hernández will be a big addition to a club that has scored two or fewer runs in four of its past six contests.
