Top prospects Thomas White and Robby Snelling headline the list of 31 non-roster players invited to Marlins big league camp this spring, the club announced on Thursday afternoon.

White, ranked as MLB Pipeline’s No. 17 overall prospect, combined for a 2.31 ERA, a 1.182 WHIP and a 14.6 K/9 rate in 21 starts across three Minor League levels (High-A, Double-A and Triple-A) during his age-20 season.

Snelling (No. 39 prospect), who turned 22 in December, received the organization’s Minor League Pitcher of the Year Award for his 2025 performance. After 14 starts at Double-A (3.61 ERA, 1.217 WHIP, 10.6 K/9), he put up better numbers at Triple-A in 11 starts (1.27 ERA, 0.990 WHIP, 11.5 K/9).

Both White and Snelling completed their 2025 seasons at Triple-A Jacksonville, where they helped the Jumbo Shrimp capture the national championship. Although both are expected to reach the big leagues this season, it’s unlikely they will make the Opening Day roster out of camp.

Right-handers Sandy Alcantara and Eury Pérez figure to be locks for the rotation, followed by righty Max Meyer (hip) and lefty Braxton Garrett (Tommy John), both of whom are returning from surgery. The next tier of arms includes righties Janson Junk, Bradley Blalock, Adam Mazur and Ryan Gusto. Lefty prospect Dax Fulton (Marlins' No. 17), who is behind White and Snelling in his development, is on the 40-man roster as well. In his return from a second Tommy John surgery, Fulton compiled a 5.38 ERA in 23 games (22 starts) between Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A.

Fellow Top 100 prospects Owen Caissie (No. 42) and Joe Mack (No. 62) will also be at camp as members of the 40-man roster. Caissie will be battling for an outfield spot, while Mack has an outside chance behind second-year catchers Agustín Ramírez and Liam Hicks.

Other notable names on the NRI list include right-handers Karson Milbrandt (Marlins' No. 22) and Jesus Tinoco; infielders Jacob Berry and Dylan Jasso; and outfielders Kemp Alderman (Marlins' No. 11), Matthew Etzel, Brendan Jones (Marlins' No. 15), Dillon Lewis (Marlins' No. 14), Andrew Pintar and Fenwick Trimble (Marlins' No. 27).

Milbrandt was the 2025 High-A Beloit MVP and an Arizona Fall League Fall Star. Tinoco, a reliable setup man for Miami’s bullpen from 2024-25, is recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Berry, the sixth overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, won MVP of the Triple-A national championship game for his walk-off homer. Jasso, Lewis and Jones were part of the return in the Ryan Weathers trade. Miami acquired Etzel for Nick Fortes in July, and Pintar in the A.J. Puk trade of July 2024.

Alderman was named the organization’s Minor League Player of the Year after leading the system in hits (139), home runs (22), extra-base hits (47), RBIs (70) and total bases (235). Trimble, who was the first member of the Marlins’ 2024 MLB Draft class to reach Double-A, was also an AFL participant this fall.
