Tigers Final Regular Season Homestand vs. Royals and Indians Sept. 23rd

DETROIT - The Tigers return to Comerica Park for their final regular season homestand beginning Friday, September 23 through Thursday, September 29 as they host the Kansas City Royals September 23-25 and the Cleveland Indians September 26-29.

DETROIT - The Tigers return to Comerica Park for their final regular season homestand beginning Friday, September 23 through Thursday, September 29 as they host the Kansas City Royals September 23-25 and the Cleveland Indians September 26-29. Friday's game against the Royals is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., while Saturday and Sunday's games are scheduled for 1:05 p.m. and 1:10 p.m., respectively. The Tigers close out the homestand with a four-game series against the Indians with the first three games against the Indians slated for 7:10 p.m. and the final regular season home game on Thursday starting at 1:10 p.m.

Fan Appreciation Weekend September 23-25
·   The Tigers will give away over 500 prizes to randomly selected winners in attendance throughout the weekend including Tigers gear and authentic merchandise as part of Fan Appreciation Weekend, presented by Comerica Bank. The annual "Shirt Off Our Back" giveaway will return on Sunday, September 25th. Fans will be randomly selected to receive the actual game-worn jerseys of Detroit Tigers players, coaches and select FOX Sports Detroit broadcasters during a postgame on-field ceremony. All prizes will be selected randomly using a computer generated system to ensure equal opportunity for ALL fans.

·   Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Raffle: The Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Charity Raffle continues at Comerica Park this season at all Friday and Saturday home games. The partner charity for this weekend's 50/50 raffle is Camp Mak-a-Dream, Michigan Chapter, a local charity that sends young adults with cancer from Michigan to attend a summer camp in Montana. Tickets will be sold on a digital platform and are three for $5, 10 for $10 and 40 for $20. The winner will be announced on the Comerica Park scoreboard before the end of the game. The 50/50 Charity Raffle program has raised more than $1.3 million for charity.

Four contestants who were selected by Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers for participating in their Text-To-Win contest during the in- game Chevy Motor City Wheels races, will compete for the chance to win the Malibu from Lou LaRiche Chevrolet dealership.

·   2006 AL Championship 10th Anniversary: Magglio Ordoñez will participate in a pregame Q&A session with fans from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Big Cat Court as part of the 2006 AL Championship 10th Anniversary celebration and throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Ordoñez will also sign autographs at 9:30 a.m. in The D Shop. Tickets are available online at tigers.com/autographs prior to the signing or in The D Shop the day of the signing. ·   Verlander's Victory for Veterans: This season, for each Saturday home game, Justin Verlander hosts Veterans from Veterans Affairs Medical Centers throughout the state of Michigan. These Veterans sustained injuries or illness in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom or in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. The Veterans along with their families cheer on the Tigers from the comfort of Verlander's personal luxury suite. After serving our country, the special day provides American veterans the opportunity to enjoy a Tigers game with their family. ·   All Sunday home games are Chevy Youth Baseball Sunday Kids Days at Comerica Park. ·   Ponle Acento: Major League Baseball's #PonleAcento campaign (to put an accent on it) features all the ways Latinos put an accent on the game both on and off the field and is part of the league's increased effort to reach Latino fans, which started in 2015. Customized Hispanic Heritage Month BP shirts will be worn by all players and coaches on Monday to celebrate Ponle Acento.
·   The ceremonial first pitches will be thrown by Ty Cobb's granddaughter, Cindy Cobb and Tigers fan Roy Schmipper.
·   The national anthem will be performed by vocalist Rachel Kalmowitz.
·   Prior to Monday's game, fans will receive a Detroit Tigers Grand Slam Coupon Book as they enter Comerica Park. 
Tuesday, September 27 vs. Cleveland Indians at 7:10 p.m. Gates Open at 5:30 p.m.
·   Wayne State University Night: The Detroit Tigers along with FOX Sports Detroit and AMP Radio will host the seventh and final installment of their University Days series at Comerica Park. All fans who purchased the Wayne State University ticket package will receive a co-branded Detroit Tigers and Wayne State University baseball hat and a donation will be made to the Wayne State University General Scholarship Fund. ·   The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Tigers fan Brian McDonald. 
Wednesday, September 28 vs. Cleveland Indians at 7:10 p.m. Gates Open at 5:30 p.m.

·   The ceremonial first pitches will be thrown by Eric Fiebelkorn, representing Toshiba and Joe McManus, representing Frito Lay.
·   The national anthem will be performed by the L'Anse Creuse High School North Choirs of Macomb Township.
