Doubleheader now slated for Saturday

The first game of the White Sox and Tigers' scheduled doubleheader tonight at Guaranteed Rate Field has been postponed due to the weather forecast, the White Sox announced. The second game will be played as scheduled at 7:10 p.m. CT.
Mike Pelfrey will get the start for the White Sox tonight opposite Matthew Boyd. Pelfrey was originally scheduled to start Game 1 against the Tigers' . Chicago had also added from Triple-A as the 26th man earlier on Friday in order to have him start Game 2.
The postponed game will be made up on Saturday as part of a new doubleheader starting at 1:10 p.m. CT, with and Danish assuming the respective starting assignments. Farmer and will take the hill for Detroit. Fans with tickets to Saturday's originally-scheduled game will be allowed to attend both games of the doubleheader.
"It gives me a little chance to at least watch the game tonight, kind of enjoy the atmosphere again," Danish said. "Obviously kind of throws a little wrench in the schedule of mine, but played catch and now it's just another day. I'll be ready to pitch tomorrow."
Gates open for Friday night's game at 4:40 CT.
