Roar of '84 ticket package comes to Comerica

November 30th, 2018

DETROIT -- After the Hall of Fame inductions of Alan Trammell and Jack Morris provided Tigers fans with a summer of celebration for their 1984 World Series champions, the team plans on honoring the 35th anniversary of the title-winning club in 2019 with a series of promotions and a special ticket package.
The Roar of '84 package, now on sale at tigers.com/84, includes tickets to five Saturday home games, each of which features a special giveaway.
The highlight of the package is a two-piece bobblehead set honoring Trammell and his double-play partner, Lou Whitaker. Other commemorative items include a Sparky Anderson bobblehead, Kirk Gibson replica road jersey and 1984 World Series championship pennant. All but the Sparky bobblehead will be exclusive to ticket-package holders and will not be available to individual ticket buyers.
The pennants will be given away on May 18, when the Tigers host the A's. The Sparky Anderson bobblehead will be distributed for the June 29 game against the Nationals, and available to individual ticket buyers. The Whitaker and Trammell bobblehead pieces will be given away on July 6 against the Red Sox and July 20 against the Blue Jays, respectively. The Gibson road jersey is the scheduled item for the Tigers' Aug. 10 game against the Royals.
