MIAMI -- Todd Hollandsworth, a member of the Marlins' 2003 World Series championship team, will be back in South Florida in 2017 as a television analyst for Fox Sports Florida. Hollandsworth, 43, will be joining play-by-play announcer Rich Waltz in the booth for all 150 Marlins games on FS Florida.
In recent years, Hollandsworth has been part of the Cubs' pregame coverage team for Comcast SportsNet in Chicago. The former big league outfielder also has been a host on SiriusXM radio.
The Marlins have opted to return to using one TV analyst after using three different voices in 2016. Former players Preston Wilson, Eduardo Perez and Al Leiter each split up the 150-game local television schedule.
Hollandsworth enjoyed a 12-year big league career, and in 1996, while with the Dodgers, he won the National League Rookie of the Year Award. He retired after the 2006 season.

The 2003 season was Hollandsworth's lone year in Miami, but it was an eventful one. The Marlins shocked the baseball world by beating the Yankees for their second World Series championship. Hollandsworth began the season as the Marlins' starting left fielder, but after Miguel Cabrera was called up in June, Hollandsworth became a valuable player off the bench.
In 93 games, he batted .254 with three home runs and 20 RBIs. As a pinch-hitter in the National League Championship Series against the Cubs, he was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.
Waltz will be returning for his 13th season as the play-by-play voice of the Marlins.
