Here's MLB Pipeline's roundup of the top prospect performances in the Minor Leagues on Monday.
Nick Madrigal's career-best four hits helped Class A Advanced Winston-Salem clinch a second-half title with a 5-3 win over Down East. The Dash, who also won the first-half title, finished the regular season 84-54 and will begin their playoff run on Wednesday against Buies Creek.

Madrigal, the White Sox No. 4 prospect (No. 32 overall), finishes the regular season on a high note. Not only was the 2018 first-round Draft pick a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, but he also stole two bases and is in the middle of an eight-game hitting streak.
The 21-year-old has played across three levels since being drafted fourth overall and put together a solid professional debut. After helping Oregon State win the College World Series, Madrigal began his career in the Rookie-level Arizona League. However, he was only there for a brief five-game stint before he went off to Class A Kannapolis, where he hit .341 through 12 games.
Madrigal was promoted to Winston-Salem on Aug. 2 and proceeded to hit .306 over 26 games. All in all, Madrigal hit .303 through 43 games and if the Dash are able to capture the Mills Cup, Madrigal will have won his second championship of the summer.
Other top prospect performances from Monday's action:
• No. 61 overall prospect Peter Alonso (Mets' No. 2) concluded his season in dramatic fashion for Triple-A Las Vegas. Alonso, who finished 2-for-5, hit his 36th homer of the season -- a walk-off blast -- in what was the final game at Cashman Field. Alonso put together an impressive campaign, hitting .285 in 132 games across two levels, while also finishing with a career-high 119 RBIs. However, the Mets have said Alonso will not get a callup and will instead head off to the Arizona Fall League, which begins in early October.

• No. 75 overall prospect Albert Abreu (Yankees' No. 4) was absolutely dominant in his debut with Double-A Trenton. The right-hander threw 44 of his 62 pitches for strikes as he worked five hitless frames. Abreu did issue one walk, but struck out four in his second scoreless outing of the year. Abreu had a bit of an up-and-down year with a few trips to the disabled list, but finished strong, giving up two runs or less in his final five starts.

• No. 79 overall prospect Brandon Marsh (Angels' No. 2) hit his 10th homer of the year as part of a four-hit night for Class A Advanced Inland Empire. Marsh went 4-for-6 in the game and in addition to his homer, he also doubled twice and drove in a trio of runs.
• Astros No. 7 prospect Seth Beer has a hit in five straight games after hitting his 12th homer of the year in the final game of the regular season for Class A Advanced Buies Creek. Beer will enter the playoffs swinging a hot bat as he's homered four times over the past 12 games and has multiple hits in three of his last five games. Overall, the 2018 first-rounder hit .304 in 67 games in his professional debut.
• Cubs No. 12 prospect Keegan Thompson bounced back from a rough start (eight runs allowed over 3 2/3 innings) with an absolute gem for Double-A Tennessee. Thompson yielded just one hit over five scoreless frames, walked one and struck out five. The 23-year-old threw 41 of his 63 pitches for strikes and finished his season with a 3.61 ERA over 25 starts (129 2/3 innings pitched) and two levels.
• Cubs No. 21 prospect Nelson Velasquez extended his hitting streak to nine games as part of his first career two-homer game. The 19-year-old went deep in each of his first two at-bats with Class A Short-Season Eugene and finished 2-for-5 with two RBIs.
• Dodgers No. 7 prospect Mitchell White put up nothing but zeros for the second time in his past three starts with Double-A Tulsa. White, who threw 51 of his 70 pitches for strikes, struck out four and surrendered just four hits over six innings. White finished with a 4.53 ERA through 22 starts in his first full season at the Double-A level, but after posting a 5.97 ERA in the first half, White's second-half ERA was 3.91.
• Dodgers No. 8 prospect DJ Peters put together his fourth straight multihit performance in Double-A Tulsa's win over Springfield. Peters, who finished 2-for-3, also went deep for the fifth time in the past six games. After hitting 27 homers in 132 games last season, Peters upped the ante with 29 in 132 games this season.
• Dodgers No. 16 prospect Connor Wong had a huge game for Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga, doing a bit of everything at the plate. Wong finished 4-for-5, his second four-hit game of the season, with two doubles, a homer and four RBIs. The homer was Wong's 19th of the season and the pair of doubles brought his season total to an even 20.
• Indians No. 6 prospect Yu Chang saved the best for last as his first two-homer game of the year came on the final day of the regular season. Chang went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo homers for Triple-A Columbus and finished the season with 13 homers in 127 games.
• Royals No. 30 prospect Ofreidy Gomez put together another strong start for Class A Advanced Wilmington. The right-hander has given up just one run in three straight turns after cruising through seven innings on 77 pitches. Gomez threw 49 strikes in the outing, walked one, struck out five and gave up five hits.
• Yankees No. 24 prospect Michael King has been dominant since he was promoted to Scranton-Wilkes/Barre on Aug. 4 and that trend continued with six innings of one-run ball. King, who has allowed one earned run or less in five of his six starts, is 4-0 with a 1.15 ERA for the RailRiders. King yielded just one run on three hits in the outing and struck out four, bringing his season total to 152 through 161 1/3 innings.
• Yankees No. 29 prospect Dermis Garcia waited until the final day of the regular season to turn in his first two-homer game of the year for Class A Charleston. Garcia finished 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a three-run homer in the game and concludes his season with 15 homers in 88 games.
