There are Fourth of July fireworks and Second of August fireworks. We got plenty of the latter Tuesday.

This year’s Trade Deadline came and went at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, but not before multiple blockbusters were completed across Major League Baseball. The biggest of them all was, of course, Juan Soto’s move from the Nationals to the Padres, which brought two talented rookies, two Top 100 prospects and a rising electric arm to the Washington system.

Seven total Top 100 prospects -- including two more in a Mariners-Reds swap for Luis Castillo -- moved to different organizations Tuesday. That’s an increase from four a year ago, and marks the most at any Trade Deadline since seven Top 100 talents were acquired before the final bell in 2017.

Below is a ranking of all 48 prospects who are either currently on one of MLB Pipeline's Top 30 lists or were at the time of their trades:

1. Noelvi Marte, SS, Reds (No. 1, MLB No. 17)
Acquired from the Mariners in the Luis Castillo trade
Cincinnati set the bar high for top prospect acquired at this year's Deadline over the weekend, and Marte ended up being the high watermark for this year's trade class. The Reds get the 20-year-old shortstop at just the right time, too. After early struggles at High-A, Marte slashed .384/.455/.709 with seven homers over 21 games in July, showcasing the plus power and overall hitting ability that made him a big name in the first place. The idea of him sharing a Reds infield with Elly De La Cruz at any position should be electrifying in southwest Ohio.

2. Robert Hassell III, OF, Nationals (No. 1, MLB No. 21)
Acquired from the Padres in the Juan Soto trade
San Diego really did pull off the blockbuster of the modern age. C.J. Abrams and MacKenzie Gore could have been prospect headliners (had they not graduated earlier in 2022), but Hassell carries a lot of weight himself as the Nats' new top Minor League talent. The eighth overall pick from the 2020 Draft has a chance to flirt with a .300 average wherever he plays, and he also brings improved power, above-average speed and good center-field defense to the table.

3. Ken Waldichuk, LHP, Athletics (No. 3, MLB No. 70)
Acquired from the Yankees in the Frankie Montas, Lou Trivino trade
The 24-year-old southpaw might not be far from joining the Oakland rotation in his new system and brings an interesting four-pitch mix to that discussion. Waldichuk's fastball can touch the mid-90s and shows good carry to get swings and misses. His slider became a promising sweeper under the Yankees' watch, and his changeup can flash plus as well. He struck out 70 in 47 2/3 innings at Triple-A before the trade, putting him on track to see the Majors in 2022.

4. Jordan Groshans, SS, Marlins (No. 4, MLB No. 82)
Acquired from the Blue Jays in the Zach Pop, Anthony Bass trade
While he remained part of our Top 100 this season, Groshans' arrow was pointing down as his time in Triple-A Buffalo wore on, though it was interesting to see he was the lone player Miami picked up in this swap. At his best, the 22-year-old shortstop can make contact against a variety of types of pitches and shows good strike zone awareness. At his more trying times, he struggles to make powerful contact. Time remains on his side -- he won't turn 23 until November -- and the Marlins may try to find a way to improve his drive rate in the months ahead.

5. Logan O’Hoppe, C, Angels (No. 1, MLB No. 86)
Acquired from the Phillies in the Brandon Marsh trade
The presence of J.T. Realmuto may have made O'Hoppe expendable, and he's moved here for a former Top 100 prospect in Marsh. A 23rd-rounder in 2018, O'Hoppe has grown into an all-around quality defender behind the plate and has grown enough offensively to be a solid contributor there as well. He's slashed .275/.392/.496 with 15 homers in 75 Double-A games this season.

6. James Wood, OF, Nationals (No. 4, MLB No. 88)
Acquired from the Padres in the Juan Soto trade
Our full midseason Top 100 update is still to come later this month, and Wood was likely to make a healthy jump. The 2021 second-rounder physically stands out at 6-foot-7 and is a better runner than many would expect for someone of that size. He has a chance to be a tall center fielder while bringing at least above-average power to the plate as well. Fun fact: He was teammates with Washington first-rounder Elijah Green (another tooled-up outfielder) at IMG Academy, so this could lead to a fun reunion.

7. Edwin Arroyo, SS, Reds (No. 6, MLB No. 92)
Acquired from the Mariners in the Luis Castillo trade
Another potential jumper from the 2021 second round. Known for his defense coming out of the Draft, Arroyo was one of the Mariners' best offensive Minor League performers before his move to Cincy, having hit .316 with an .899 OPS in 87 games at Single-A Modesto. This is still technically his age-18 season too since he doesn't turn 19 until later this month. Four of the Reds' top six prospects now play at least some shortstop.

8. Spencer Steer, 2B/3B, Reds (No. 7)
Acquired from the Twins in the Tyler Mahle trade
Speaking of new Reds infielders who can hit, Steer was a Top 100-adjacent prospect when he moved from Minnesota to Cincy. The 24-year-old right-handed slugger has already hit 20 homers between Double-A and Triple-A in 2022 and has done that while cutting his strikeout rate to just 17 percent. The bat is the big draw here, but he's moved around enough defensively that Cincinnati shouldn't worry about finding him a spot on the diamond.

9. Hayden Wesneski, RHP, Cubs (No. 8)
Acquired from the Yankees in the Scott Effross trade
There was some debate over whether the Cubs should have traded a good controllable reliever, but in return, they got a near-Major League-ready starter. Wesneski had a 3.51 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 83 strikeouts in 89 2/3 innings at Triple-A before he traded the Bronx for Wrigleyville. His fastball and slider can both be plus pitches, and good control will help him earn -- and potentially maintain -- a spot in Chicago's rotation before long.

10. Jarlin Susana, RHP, Nationals (No. 8)
Acquired from the Padres in the Juan Soto trade
Complex-level pitchers are famously boom or bust, and well, Susana certainly has some boom potential. His fastball already sits in the upper-90s and has touched 102 mph in the Arizona Complex League. His slider and changeup give two more pitches to dream on, and command will likely be a focus for the 18-year-old as he climbs the Washington chain. Having just signed in January, Susana has years ahead of him before he can dream of reaching D.C., but if he stays the course driven by his velocity, his name could look even bigger in this blockbuster in hindsight.
