Top-ranked Jessica Pegula to face Amanda Anisimova at inaugural "A Racket at the Rock" and "Miami Invitational" in Newark and Miami

MIAMI - Top-ranked tennis star Jessica Pegula will face Amanda Anisimova in upcoming tennis matches in Newark and Miami. Pegula will replace Emma Raducanu, who dropped her participation due to injury. Currently ranked No. 6 in the World, she has reached multiple Grand Slam semifinals, captured nine WTA singles titles, and established herself as one of the tour’s most dependable players. The American also became World No. 1 in doubles, winning prestigious events including WTA 1000 titles and reaching major finals.

The inaugural tennis events, A Racquet at The Rock and Miami Invitational, are the first professional tennis events to take place at the Prudential Center and loanDepot park. A Racquet at The Rock will celebrate the world's best tennis players and provide fans the opportunity to see their favorite players take the court at New Jersey’s Prudential Center on December 7. Fans will witness a marquee showdown between 2025 Wimbledon and US Open finalist Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula, followed by a battle between this year’s US Open Champion Carlos Alcaraz and two-time US Open Semifinalist Frances Tiafoe. The Miami Invitational to be held on Monday, December 8, will be the first-ever tennis event at loanDepot park, the home of the Miami Marlins, providing a unique and historic tennis competition at a ballpark. The event will feature four of the world’s top tennis players: Alcaraz facing rising Brazilian star João Fonseca, marking their first-ever meeting, and a showdown of Anisimova and Pegula. The star-studded evening will also include a mixed doubles 10-point tie breaker featuring Pegula and Alcaraz vs. Anisimova and Fonseca.
